Prof. Aleksandër XHUVANI

Prof. Aleksandër XHUVANI is currently head of Fundamentals of Computer Science Department in Polytechnic University of Tirana.

He graduated Electrical Engineer for Industry in 1980, Tirana University. In 1985 he graduated again Engineer in Industrial Electronics and DEA (Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies – Advanced Studies Diploma) in the field of Electrical Genius at ENSEEIHT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electrotechnique, d'Electronique, d'Informatique et d'Hydraulique de Toulouse) in France. In 1989, he obtained the scientific degree of “Doctor of National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse”. In 2013 he graduated Master’s in Business Administration at the University Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV, in France.
Prof. A. XHUVANI is author or co-author of more than 30 scientific articles in the field of identification of parameter processes, database and computer engineering, 5 textbooks and written lessons, 2 main national projects, 20 international reports and statements. He is co-author of the white paper on national policy of higher education in 2014 and co-author of the 3 last law texts of higher education, of the law text of national qualification framework and of the code of good practice in scientific research.

Prof. A. XHUVANI is an invited professor at the University of Trieste, the University of Campobasso (Italy), ENSEEIHT and the University of Bordeaux (France), the University of Bristol (United Kingdom) and the University of Siegen (Germany).

• Parameter identification;
• Programming (BASIC, FORTRAN, PASCAL, C&C++, VISUAL BASIC, JAVA);
• Database applications;
• Web applications.

Prof. Asoc. Ariana BEJLERI

Prof. Asoc. Ariana BEJLERI is a lecturer at the Fundamentals of Computer Science Department, Faculty of Information Technology, in Polytechnic University of Tirana, teaching programming in  C, C++, Pascal. She received  Ph.D. degree in 1994, in Polytechnic University of Tirana. She received Associate Professor in 2004, Mathematic and Informatics  Department,  Polytechnic University of Tirana. Ariana  has taken part in various projects and has completed qualifications in Universita degli studi di Trieste, Dipartimento di Elettrotecnica, Elettronica  e Informatica (DEEI). She has published several articles, as author or co-author, in several international scientific magazines.

Her research focuses on:

•    Programming Language
•    Data mining

Dr. Brunela KARAMNI

Dr. Brunela KARAMANI is a lecturer at the Fundamentals of Computer Science Department, Faculty of Information Technology, in Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania, teaching programming in different languages such as C, VBA and Pascal. She received M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Tirana in 1998 and also in Applied Mathematics from the Polytechnic University of Tirana in 2010. Ph.D. degrees in Communication and Information Technology she received from the same university in 2015.  Brunela participated in various projects and IT conferences during her academic work experience.

Her research focuses on:

• Machine learning
• Data mining
• Algorithms

Dr. Bojken SHEHU

Dr. Bojken SHEHU graduated university studies on 2007, in “Engineering and Technology” from the Polytechnic State University of Saint Petersburg. In September 2008, he started his Master Studies in State Technical University “N.E. Bauman” of Moscow, ranked “first” in Russian Federation for Technical Sciences and then, he engaged as consultant in IT issues for several private businesses in Moscow. Bojken is a PhD in Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania. He has been active in participating in various international conferences of IT and has published several articles, as an author or a co-author, in several international scientific magazines. In 2011 was assigned as “Lecturer” to the Polytechnic University of Tirana, teaching on subjects:

• Algorithms and Data Structures
• Database Security

Dr. Nelda KOTE

Dr. Nelda KOTE graduated from Polytechnic University of Tirana with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering (2004-2011).
